I'm waiting for the official announcement of pre-orders so I can see what the collector's edition is like. As soon as that comes, I'll be throwing money at them!

Anyway, if you don't already see where I'm going with this, allow me to spell it out: the only meaningful MMORPG "endgame" -- i.e., something novel to do after the progression process is over -- is that of the sandbox.

Unless you want something special that is being offered for pre-oredering, there really aren't any benefits. Games in general don't sell out basically anywhere, especially somewhere like Best Buy. It always amazes me how many people have to stand in line to receive their pre-orders. At the same time everyone who didn't is grabbing their copy off the display/shelf and checking out.

GW1 + Expansions were all on steam so it would be a bad move to not put it on there, i'm sure their marketing team would get/give them hell depending on who if the decision was made to not have it on steam. Originally Posted by Platinus
