Yeah unfortunately the appeal of pokemans is pretty much off on me. Not to mention lol@turn based combat.

Turn based combat can be pretty fun if done well. Not saying pokemon was an amazing example of it, but it's certainly got merit to it.

I really would recommend playing Ruby and Sapphire. 4th didn't catch me and I haven't played 5th, but R/S were really well-done with some truly beautiful environments.

I actually have Ruby... somewhere. One of my aunts got it for me for a birthday present back when it first came out, but I didn't get a gameboy advance until much later. So I kind of forgot about it. I'm pretty sure I know where it's at. Not sure if I'll actually play it, though, since I couldn't finish Soul Silver.

ruby was actually really fun. I found that generation to be quite enjoyable. Though I've found all of the games to be enjoyable. Not sure I finished soul silver though. It was good, but it kind of boring since I'd played the original silver and crystal. Crystal version was where it was at.

I am not a fan of Gen 3. Gen 2 and 5 are my favorites.
