he has 516 with rabit bot and syy (just tried it on lobby) still not good enough to make it worth it. I'd prefer to have 3 bears but still if u went mega late u usually lose (if enemy has any real carry), since u're same shit as the bear just more base armor and no entangle.



I've seen matches of 12 slotted bear they still lose

Lone Druid is a pretty good split pusher. He can farm two lanes at once with radiance on bear, or just push a lane with the bear while hiding in the jungle.

To be honest, I don't play him often. I prefer to hide out in the jungle while farming up a quick radiance to push the lanes down constantly. I'll use the hero to aquire whatever jungle farm I can get, it's usually slow because LD by himself is a bad jungler. But most importantly, I try to avoid all fights, unless they are really favorable.

Any idea what Valve is actually doing with all their time? Haven't heard of them working on any new games or additions to existing IPs, TI can't be taking all of their time, no new content for Dota 2, and they sure as fuck aren't using any time on balancing work.

Well Valve in general is working on that console gaming thing, I would imagine that's rather large.

As this is the internet, I would imagine there is more DotA non-canon (read: porn) out there than official canon.

There are a couple of comics that were posted on the official dota 2 blog, usually at the release of new Arcana so you might have to go back a few pages. They're mostly just to introduce the new items and/or new Heroes. You'll have to check out some of the older posts there. As far as I know, there's very little underlying story or Lore in Dota and most of it has never really been expanded on beyond Hero biographies, which are mostly just there to help establish the Character more than tell you about the game world.

there is one official comic book issue titled "Are We Heroes Yet?" written by Marc Laidlaw and drawn by James Murray. it was released in 2011 together with a large beta invite wave. you can read it online here: http://www.dota2.com/comics/are_we_heroes_yet/

there's also a physical version that was given out at the international

if you're trying to find the dota 2 lore, you might get dissapointed though.

What I've learned from Reddit about mmr.
1.5k is aids because everyone thinks they are better then the MMR and acts like they are douches when they really are enema syringes.
3.5k is cancer, because everyone is actually half way decent, and is afraid their partners will be bad.
5.5k is herpes, because you know that the other 4 people are likely 4k or below and you've got to carry your team to victory.

Anyways, I haven't watched the game, but true sight gem on Necro? Was the other team warding hardcore, or just that 2x shadowblade?

So I've played a couple games as Rubick, really like him. My only issue is, he falls outside of my current 4 normal heroes, as I don't have a solid grasp on when/where to use him, everything I read says when the other team has awesome spells to steal... Outside of the other team rocking lifestealer/ursa/sniper/riki/axe chances are there will always be awesome spells to steal. But none the less he is a lot of fun to play as.
Jacked Warlock's ultimate, the chaos that followed was awesome like people were just standing around as my Golem trampled towards them. Was beautiful.

and no at 3.5 people still awful at least 3/5 people are. (and the other 2/5 knows how to play (builds and stuff) but still executing stuff awful, like when to push/roshan etc) I havent meet anyone that knows how to farm (once I think, a tinker that went offlane. and a meepo but we still lost that game)


also really toxic people that trash talk then they die or w.e people flame them back and they just feed or do w.e

that game riki and undying were just bad(undying mostly) after we had a successful defense they would just try to push and die over and over. I muted them told necro and sky to do the same and we won thanks to necro ult with aghs (he got it rly late)

you just use it to zone out the enemy team? or lock them.. I love when rubick stole it and try to use on void while locking their team mates as well. then yeah its a free chrono also its rly easy to steal and rly useful if you use it correctly

Well you can, but as long as Faceless himself is dead was my point. Otherwise he just gets another free speed zone boost and possibly one of your teammates if you really misplace it.

To be honest 4-4.5k unranked games are pretty good, barely any flaming,people actually try, barely any russians, no tossers(as in currier feeding or just general mid feed), and mid isn't instantly taken by that pudge picker that plagues every other ranked game.

Stay there for your own sake. 4.5-5k games are pure cancer because everyone thinks he's a 6k MMR player and is just being held back by his shitty luck with teammates, so the second anything goes wrong they give up and go intentionally feed or AFK fountain like it's some low skill pub match. I can't remember the last time I got legitimately outplayed in a game, literally 100% of my ranked losses are due to teammates just giving up <10 minutes into the game and losing on purpose. Winning is also less about being good and more about somehow getting your teammates to simply play the game.
