I would personally have no issues with touch screens on cameras. ONLY touch screens, however.. *twitch*

What's wrong with touch screen on a camera? Not like it affects the photo quality. It's just an interface.
Though ironically what he said, the tablet camera, Sony and Olympus do have wireless camera interface you can also use your own DSLR lenses and all that can have tablets / phones as the interface but use a remote camera to take pictures with. It's actually pretty damn good idea.
Deltrus, you seem so cute cute talking about your expensive camera stuff. Touch screen? I am surprised they have a screen at all if they want to go old school!

Tell them to go dig out their analogue slr camera that can take 31 pictures before they need to lock themselves away in a dark room to develop the photos).
I mistook it for this:

Didn't get that much of a good read of it yesterday since lawlphone but this also shines some light on what we can see in Vega.

When they say custom they seriously mean custom. It's like a Polaris Vega mix.
I want this, lol

You know, it's not exactly impressive...
326 PPI is far from impressive, but arguably enough for a computer monitor.
IGZO means shit black levels (but 30%~ better than normal IPS displays), LCD in general is just boring.
10-bit colour depth isn't anything new. HDR isn't either.
1000 cd/m2 peak brightness capability is far from being the brightest but also arguably enough.
120Hz is pretty much the norm for any somewhat expensive LCD display of a big size.
It probably covers more than 90% of DCI-P3 too, which also isn't anything new or impressive.
I can totally imagine the R&D guys for that thing cheerfully saying "look what we made!" and the boss going "oh christ, seriously? ...Fine, we'll put it on display" :P
Judging by the 8 DP inputs I'd say this project started many years ago...DP 1.3 onwards can handle 4k@120hz so you would only need 4 of them (heh, only) to run 8k@120hz.
