    Which Vertex? For the record.
I only like the latest one, but it'd be a shame to stop recommending one of the only two OCZ-drives. :P

An old one, a vertex2. But it goes for all with the same controllertype.

Typing from the new computer now (ahhh...the silence compared to the old 7fan CM690), M4 works like a charm. I was worried the sataports were broken, but it's definitely a chipset issue.
Vertex2 also works fine on the parents' PC, which is a H61 chipset (i3-2100).

Also, gotta give credit for how fast windows8 installs. 'tis really nice.

Try 35 Celsius with 90%+ humidity.

THAT is when you begin dying.

    77 F/25 C is livable, honestly. :P

Looks like I ended up with a bad 4770k. It plain refuses going anything beyond 4.4Ghz no matter what I do. Not even letting me boot into Windows.

Like...10minutes? And 'fast' was meant in contrast to previous installments of windows.

That's shitty, but i'm going to be 'that guy' for a second and ask why you need it to over 4.4ghz though. I'm not even going to try and OC my 4670k, just isn't needed yet.

It's fine to ask that question. You're certainly not being 'that guy' just to ask why.

I Just wanted to see how far I could go with this chip. Oh well..

I like it allot. But if i'd have to nitpick it's the vent on the top. Can't seem to find a cover for it either.

Check this one out if you need a filter for the top. They also make a whole filter kit for a number of cases:

Also going to definitely change the stock fan of the H60 '13. Damn dual-ball bearings are already annoying me.

Yay I'm looking forward to seeing what AMD has to offer. Hopefully it will be affordable, unlike the new 5ghz processors.

I wouldn't go with "new" for them.
They wanted to have what on paper looks like a serious contender to the 3970X. In practice, well. We know about in practice.

Screw these next few days, I mean honestly.

    Today it is 86 F/30 C, feels like 100 F/37.78 C, with 70%~ humidity.
Tuesday 90 F, should be even more humid.
Wednesday 91 F, even more humid than Tuesday.
Thursday 93 F, and likely even more humid.

Friday it will drop 1 or 2 degrees and severe storms should hit in the evening.

Psht. And you guys complain about 77 F and 100% humidity. GOML
