The only negative aspects with the K90, at least to me, is:

A: It's not fully mechanical. I can make do with the F1-12 and page up and down keys being non-mechanical, but the Delete, Esc and macro-keys should have been. If Corsair ever makes a revision where they replace those keys with mechanical switches I'll pick it up in an instant.

B: The macro pane, no matter how you put it, looks like an after-thought. The aluminum bezel ends, and you get this rough, sturdy plastic instead. The keys are lower too (good for feeling difference between the G1-18 keys and WASD I suppose).

C: Back-lightning is only blue. This is a premium product, and as such I feel that the back-lightning should either be of optional colour (i.e. 3-4 different versions with red, white, green and blue) or simply with a RGB switcher.

D: I guess headphone-jack and an additional USB port would've been nice but... I personally don't need it.

My only issue with the board, I find, is the weird stuck-key issue. However, it's largely easy to bypass and ignore.

From a hardware perspective, the keyboard is fine. It's one of the sturdiest mass-market keyboards I've ever owned. On the other hand it's gathering dust in a storage bin because I hate the software. Everything about the accompanying software is awful.

The G510? I have one sitting next to me on top of a bunch of other stuff, lol. Okay keyboard, but after getting the K90 I opted immediately the logitech board with it.

There are worlds apart in build quality. The K90 is a solid hunk of metal with mechanical QWERTY keys. It really is just the software and to a lesser extent the mixed rubber-domes holding the K90 back.

No employer seems to recognize that.

Hint: LET YOUR EMPLOYEES LISTEN TO THEIR OWN DAMN MUSIC.

You'll be amazed at the fucking results.

Hey guys, I just got a SRH 440.
I have a Xonar DX -> Samson 4a -> SRH 440 setup. You think it's worth amping it? The volume seems alright to me, but I heard that an amp could improve the sound quality from these headphones.
    I'm fairly clueless here =p

I don't think you'll need an amp.... they don't exactly have high impedance. I'd say, use them that way for a while and see what you think.

Oh, I'm loving them, it's just that I'm not very sound quality savy and I'm trying to improve the experience =p. so, like, I don't know if I can make it better with an amp or not.
I guess the best would be if I had a friend with an amp to try it out, but sadly I don't hehe.
I know you have a SRH 440, do you miss having an amp with it? I'm only using it with the PC really, not going to walk while listening through it and stuff heh

I've actually never had an amp, but as I understand it, amps are really more just needed to power the much higher end headphones, which, while the SRH 440s are awesome, are not in the category of needing such power, thus I'd say don't worry too much about it.

Yeah, that's what I understood too, like higher impendance usually would benefit from an amp, but I saw that sometimes it just helps improve the quality. but considering my source isn't bad, I guess it's mostly as good as it gets for this price =p, which btw, is pretty good.
God, I was using a siberia v2, which was alright for gaming, but really crap for music. The only problem now is getting off the chair to take a walk >.< heh, time to think about improving my "mobile"sound experience

Eh, these headphones aren't bad for mobile, if you can get over the cable.

Let's just say I live in a place or a more discrete headphone would be preferable to go outside =x and where the srh440 costs 200 dollars, so it isn't as easy to let go hehe
