My friends say get a SSD, but can my computer actually use it? if so which one? Will it be the right size with cables? Thats a main thing i been trying to figure out for the longest since they said nothing more.

I know i'll need a new PSU if i get a video card. But what would actually work? and would would fit?

I'll take any feedback and either love you or hate you, but mostly love you.

    btw, price range roughly $400-$600

I would get a new video card and a power supply I don't really see a reason to get a SSD unless you just really want one.

    http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16817256071 70 dollars US.
    http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16814150517 350 dollars us.

420 bucks and you should be doing pretty good on gaming.

Edit: don't get me wrong SSD's are nice and I plan on getting one as well but I would get your video card and PSU first then worry about an SSD your video card is pretty weak.

Reedit: if you think your case isn't big enough for that video card this one will do for 100 bucks less

What resolution do you play at? You may be better off getting a GPU/PSU/SSD that fit in that price range rather than an expensive PSU.

1920x1080 is the resolution im at

A 7850 will be somewhere around $250 (plus whatever markup they decide on to price gouge) when it is released next week, the TX650 V2 is on sale for $60 AR and will do fine for WoW/BF3/other intensive games. This 120GB SSD should be a nice upgrade as well, will work with your mobo, and is on sale for $135 AR.

Your next upgrades would be CPU/motherboard later on, that will run you about ~$350 or so. You could skimp on the GPU, skip the SSD, and drop down a bit on the PSU. This would cost ~$215. The rest of the money would be used in a month or so when Ivy Bridge is released on a new CPU/motherboard (~$350). You might want to replace the case as well, there are some decent ones for ~$50.

I'm really looking forward to the 7850 and want to build my next build around it. Chaud why would you get a 120gb SSD unless you plan on putting your OS on there wouldn't it be cheaper to get a 60gb SSD for games and just keep you OS and other files on the HDD. I don't keep but a few games on my HD maybe this guy does but you can always install/uninstall games you don't play anymore and save the money for a better GPU,Ram,and PSU.

In the end $50 more for double the space is worth it. Running a SSD almost full isn't helpful to performance either.

Ok I was wondering that I didn't know if an SSD was like a HHD if it got full it would slow down a bit.

I would start with a new graphic card first. You can get a HD6870 for around $170. It's a great card in a reasonable price. :-) Then getting a 650w PSU would cost around $80 depends on the model. SSD is not really necessary for this rig in my opinion.
