level 85 template gear, I don't know where the armor is actually from
My monks staff set.

Is what I can make out from it.
Here are the two sets I'll likely be making on my human monk. Most of the pieces are pretty easy to get from JP, questing, or from the early raid dungeons. The only items I might have an issue with are the Cover of the Keepers (Ulduar 10) and the Passive Resistive Spaulders (Blackwind Descent 10, but it's Omnitron and right at the entrance at least). Unfortunately I had the BoE version of the shoulders, but I guess I lost them in the mail or something at some point. I plan to farm for the weapons in the first set as soon as I'm high enough to run the trash on Mt. Hyjal over and over to get the random one-hander to drop. I really liked the look of the gloves on the second set, and so designed a blue color scheme for the rest of it from that one piece.
Maybe:
Except for the boots. Since, unfortunately, it's not leather.
Love the transmogs so far!! I am still thinking about what my first transmog set will be. Most likely I will have to browse through atlasloot and find the right combo from raid/dungeon items. Can't wait!

[/COLOR]Plus given that only rogues and druids have been the only leather wearers AND there hasn't been any monk tier, what does he expect people to get gear from? There are no Asian/monk themed armor sets available as yet.
Although I disagree with your assessment about ninja-likeness. Ninjas are stealthy assassins, which fits into the whole prowl/stealth thing ferals and rogues have. Monks are kung fu types, who generally fight in the open.

Out of all 12 pages I've seen maybe 3 sets that I think actually resemble monk-like gear at all. The sad truth is, most of the old armor looks strange for monks because the Warcraft monks have a very heavy asian stye to them. There was one simplistic black leather set on a female pandaren in the first 5 pages that I thought was pretty damned good for the limited choices we're going to have, so kudos to you on that.
Actually they don't. The Pandaren have the asian theme. The monk class itself doesn't.

As examples.
Then theres the Scarlet Crusade monks as well. A lot of the Pandaren monks even wear simplistic gear having no Asian theme what so ever. The only actual asian theme to monks is their fighting styles.
