There are a couple of things that are going to have a heavy effect on our stat weights. Firstly the outcome of GC's answer regarding expertise/hit for tanks, if we do truly need to get the full 15% to ensure consistent chi generation then we aren't going to have a huge amount left over for reforging into much else, alternatively if they do make it so that our chi generators will generate chi whether they hit or not then we may end up right back where we are now with next to no hit or expertise. Secondly if the Shuffle change stays in, I feel like it will effectively make haste worthless on any tank switching fight.
Discussion of relative values and what fights certain stats will excel is good, but I think it might be slightly too soon to be trying to finalise the stat weights, we still have quite a few weeks before MoP is due to hit.

even if hit / expertise is needed there's often a point where others stat are better than the last % required ! simply because the value decrease the more you get to the cap. Like for feral the whole patch, where hit / ewpertise was juste bringing some comfort about the cycle, but not nerfing the DPS if not caped because other stats were bringing as much as those missed % to be caped.

As well, how would the shuffle change make haste worthless? For the most part, when we look at haste, we want more if we're pushing more buttons, and I'm not sure that changes much on tank swapping fights just because of stagger compounding on itself. It just seems like a quality of life sort of deal.
Unless you're referring to the burst of energy regen necessary to get up shuffle and start hittin' PB and everything else when you swap over, which I can understand. Even then, though, if you do in fact still have shuffle up, I don't think it makes haste completely worthless... though I do rate it pretty low already.

If it gets the DK treatment, then it would make it so we would need the 7.5% cap only.
If they make it that the Chi will always generate, then Hit / Expertise will indeed become useless. Since that is not what they want, making it so they can be dodged but not parried seems reasonable.
So we're in agreement that if a parried block still generates chi/and or vengeance that 7.5% expertise will be the cap?
Getting to 15% may be helpful but not as helpful as other stats like crit parry/dodge/mastery etc that will lower the damage we as tanks recieve..

If a Parry will grant Chi, 7.5% Expertise will indeed be our cap. Sure, more would be helpful in DPS terms, though all other stats will pass it in value after that point.
Correct. The reason I put in 7.5% is that I'm assuming that it will be the right percentage, considering Ghostcrawler's stance on the subject. That's where melee have to get to, so yeah. Besides, 15% expertise is just INSANE, and I'm not sure how anything less than 7.5%b would make much sense.
Getting that 7.5% cap is massive. I'm at 6% on beta currently and the boss dodging / parrying those keg smashes is nasty.
I kind of hope they take the Chi if parried approach, it would make our lives so much easier since 15% is just a retarded number to ever try and make.
Could you note the new undead racial? 20% chance to life drain your enemy for about 11k-14k, no known ICD. lasts loggs I checked this racial is for about ~1% dmg - so it is a nice EH and aggro gain for undeads!

I'm primarily waiting for a bit longer before editing the races. It's a relatively minor thing compared to a bunch of stuff I've still gotta add in, so it's down there on the list.
That having been said, if the racial does go live, undead are certainly going up a notch or two on the list.

From my understanding GC says exactly that your active mitigation buttons should not be affected by hit/expertise, but resource generators should be.
So any change that would possibly go through is changing Blackout Kick (which works exactly like Shield of the Righteous) to give shuffle on miss/dodge/parry and consume 2 chi.
Our other active mitigation button PB (and EB) is already unaffected because you don't hit anything (working exactly the same as shield block)

In terms of threat, no issue. I went into Raid Finder Stone Guard, Tanked all Three together and had no issue. The first few seconds were a little sketchy, just like any other Tank, though after that there was no issue at all (This is from myself not using SCK and using Keg Smash as my AoE).
Our DPS does seem pretty good right now, maybe a little more than it should. Personally, in guild raids, I'm at 50kish DPS while not pushing a heavy DPS rotation. Of course, this fluctuates on a boss by boss basis.
Cool, so has this brought us more into line with the other tanks then? ( I guess it's best to wait till after the next build to check that )

5 Mans, we're ok too. We do have little agrro problems here and there, though that is down to some DPS nuking different targets. You can handle it though, just tab target your jabs / TPs.
