    Xbox 360 backwards compatibility

So I just ordered Knights of the Old Republic for my xbox and while I wait for delivery I need to do something to make my xbox backwards compatible. What exactly is it you have to do? I don't understand.

Some Xbox games are unable to run in Xbox 360 due to communication issues between the disc and the console. Those that are able to run usually need some type of update that fixes the errors and loops that occur between the disc and the console. You don't have to search for anything though. Just pop the disc in, and it should prompt you for an update. I can't personally say that Knights of the Old Republic will work, but I know that I can still play Jet Set Radio Future and a few other games that were released before KOTOR came along.

If all goes to hell, you can always purchase it for PC =D
I mostly play fighting games these days.
