    Why doesn't the majority win?

Why doesn't the majority win when surrender voting? Sometimes I just want to quit this game and go to bed since the whole team sucks and I'm just pissed off on everybody. But there are ALWAYS these two guys on the team that refuse to give up even tho it's a guaranteed loss.

    I really don't understand this...

Because there is only a handful of times where its a "guaranteed loss" and most of those times are when the enemy is beating on your nexus. And, just for clarification, what you're really asking for is an understanding between Simple Majority and Super Majority voting.

For a summoner never relents in the face of danger for in the direst of times may victory shine through. Some people just don't believe in giving up. Nothing wrong with it.

something like that happen. I usually just go afk and do something else (browsing, reading my comic, watch TV, or just take a stroll resting my eye)

2 Feeders = GG unless enemy team is full level 1 or some shit. In equal skill games, more than 1 feeder/leaver equals loss, no matter what. Not surrendering means being a jackass, though its probably the 2 feeders doing it. I don't see how these people with 900 wins managed NOT to get banned into eternity.

well i think about it this way.. when im winning over a team by a great leap they always surrender when we are about to kill them or are in their base.. i hate it.. why won't they just keep on playing and let us kill their nexus, instead of surrendering 3-5 minutes before we kill it.. i find it annoying and therefor i always say no if they are ahead of us by a super great leap and are close to kill our base

wrong....superior team comp and catching up on farm saves that from happiening, happened to me a couple of times, on my team, and the opponents team, your just one of "those" that quits at the first sign of a non-perfect game

But wait! He has a very impressive 8/8 normal DS! Gold medal; special olympics?
I'm a little surprised no one has mentioned: Some people play PvP games for, oh I dunno, PvP? Win or lose a game is a game and you should enjoy it for what it is and let it play itself out. Stop giving up at the 20minute mark.

Well I don't really see it as loosing or winning but it's really not fun to play when the teams are 10-35 and they're basicly owning you.

Ironically your sig says "In Difficulty lies opportunity". It requires special knowledge and skills to play underdog team, but there are some really good examples of epic comebacks on highest levels of LoL.

It could be because the 2 Guys know that the enemy team isn't a good one for lategame, or that your team is a very strong late game team. (Kog as a example. He just melts faces in lategame).
In the super late game, one mistake and the game can be over. If the enemy makes that mistake, you could push down to an inhib, or even the nexus.

Or they could be those 2 guys who play the game for fun, not really caring if winning or loosing.

But if the game is 2-20 after 15min... its mostly a lost game :/

Anyone else notice its always the feeders voting no too? That guy who is 0/15 will always go 'WTF NO SURRENDER NOOBS'.

That said, if they are just about to win I'll always vote no. When they have aced us and are beating on the nexus, why surrender, at least let them the satisfaction of ending it.

Deathwing: No. The Grimtotems weakened him with poison, and then Garrosh accidentally hacked him to death with an axe during a heated political discussion.

Surrender is for pussies... Either lose like a man/woman or play bot games for sure wins...

  15. #15
I only surrender if there is actually no way we can win (like score is 20-35 and they just got baron), or if we're so far behind that the only way we can win is by a miraculous everything falls perfectly into place and the enemy team makes the perfect mistakes and we just play like miniature gods.

It's by far the most annoying thing ever, 15-29, just let them have it.

I think it's far more annoying when people just spam surrender. It's just obnoxious.

I've won too many games where we ended the game with less overall kills. Kills really don't mean anything as long as you lock up objectives.

You really should never give up in public games. When they push you into your base you finally are forced to fight as a team and stop the retarded roaming/face checking that got you into that mess in the first place. In the same breath while you're altogether the other team might not necessarily be. I find too often that in public games like this people like to do their own thing when they have a massive advantage/bounty and completely throw the game because of their lack of focus.

They fail to seize the opportunity to end/win the game when it smacks them right in the face. They kill all your outside towers in a push, maybe get 1 inhibitor and then decide to go back and buy or do baron. Why? Because people are retarded. Instead of just focusing right down the middle and winning the game when 4 people have 20-25 seconds and 1 support up, they just lose track.

Like I mentioned in pub games people like to roam regardless. They see a major advantage they have secured but don't stay disciplined. Through your misfortune your team is now a bundled group of 5 and all it takes is a few kills of the snowballed characters (to which you get huge bounties to turn the game around). Too often have I seen this undisciplined play. You see a 10-0 Corki out in the woods by himself on your side, you 5-1 him kill him and then catch another in the bushes a little ways ahead. Because they spend all of their time escaping they do ZERO damage to you and you still lock in the kills. All of a sudden two of their champions have 45 second rez timers, and it's 5 vs 3. You push the middle in a focused effort with all your major CDs ready and proceed to walk right in their base kill and kill the other 3. Because their rez timers aren't synced at all you only have to deal with 1 of them rezzing at anyone time and you just end up winning.

I don't know, I just don't give up. People leave way too many openings for you to come back. The only time you really lose is when you don't have nexus towers and you're down an inhib or two. At that point I'd give up, but the game is going to be over in a minute or two anyways.. so what's the point really?

Also lastly sometimes you just know your team is better in team fights and it's just a matter of time. Just by eyeballing it you can see that as a 5v5 unit all it takes is a few small mistakes a bit of safe farming to put your team in a position to win.

Over confidence can be a killer too. Because of a huge advantage you can easily stack 5 people at a golem/lizard/baron/dragon, and watch as two people face check the bush to kill it only to get focused and killed by your entire team. I don't know how many times we have won the game because people forget that face checking is bad regardless of the length of the game. This scenario is fairly common because I hear it myself when we are winning the game. "LETS DO BARON" or "I'll BRT just gonna grab golem/lizard/dragon right quick, buy and then meet you on bottom!". Meanwhile 1-2 people run ahead by themselves and just get demolished. And sadly, these are the members that are critical to your fucking team fight. And despite how good your overall team score is you just lost the game.

If you're gonna start a surrender, list some points as to why you think its hopeless. An explanation goes a long way my friend. Better than spamming surrenders silently, then RAGING like a wild animal when it doesn't work.

I have had a game look like this in kills: 20 (my team)- 57 (the other team). Wanna know how it ended? 78 (my team)- 60 (their team). How? Late game. Some team comps simply have stronger late game, if you drag it out you will win, simple as that.

I think it depends on the situation but i feel that it needs to be changed, and i'm talking games were it's 50mins in there teams near tripple your kills you have like one inhib left the nexus turrets and the other team isn't pushing instead they walk into base ace you and walk away waiting for you to respawn and two idiots are stoping you from surrendering

I've had this happen before were the other team was actualy saying in all chat we wont push the lanes were gona farm full build unless you surrender and they did just that left enough towers up and farmed the fuck out of us, those times when idiots wont surrender is beyond frustrating
I'm a little ninja, short and stout I take all the loot and I hearthstone out All the guys on teamspeak scream and shout I'm the warrior in full devout.
