Gymnastics and Tennis are the hardest sports.

You need high levels of fitness and focus combined with a obsession for perfection.

They also become difficult to the point of impossible past the age of 30.

Everyone who's said baseball, guess what you can throw a ball that is the same size faster with a lacrosse stick but instead of hitting it you catch it with a mesh pocket at the end of a 40inch metal pole, I'm not saying people throw their hardest when passing. As someone who plays long stick midfielder I challenge anyone to try to catch someones shot with the 72inch(1.8 meters) long stick I use. The average shot at a college level is 95mph and up. I've caught a few but have had to step in front of a ton of shots to stop them with with my body and I must say it hurts like a bitch.
Also I'd like to point out that we hit each other just as hard as anyone gets hit in hockey.
Fun fact: Fastest recorded pitch 105mph fastest recorded lacrosse shot 120mph.

Hurling..the fastest field sport in the world...played by ancient celts.
