Buying now for a setup later on

I am returning to WoW after a year+ break and with that I want to come back strong with a new setup. However, I probably won't do any serious building until at least summer i.e. 1-2 months from now. So my question is what are some possible components (somewhat top-end) that I can start investing in now that will still have some fairly decent shelf-life to them. Any help would be appreciated

Then my suggestion would be to wait 1-2 months and buy the stuff then. New stuff is coming out right now and it's working it's way out on the market. Prices might also drop in 1-2 months.
