Properly due to that Dreamcast was the doom of SEGA and neither Sony nor Nintendo was interested to license a game from that system.

Pretty sure the developer went on to produce the F.E.A.R. games [more $$$] and the recent Gotham City Imposters. I recall NOLF failing to catch on. Probably for the same reason Perfect Dark never quite hit the saturation of other FPS'; female protagonist, not an overt sex bomb. To be totally honest, it was likely a hard franchise to sell and certainly won't do well in the current climate of young male dominated, gun fetishzing, military shooters.

They did indeed develop the first two F.E.A.R games, and (IMO) I think that Gotham City Imposters is a joke.

I do believe that NOLF3 would be the perfect contender to break the horrid FPS industries right now. All you do in modern FPS now-a-days is to fight Nazis/Zombies, Charlies or Soviets/Russians with a silent protagonist.
