[SPOILERS] Just beat Nightmare... Holy !@#$.

I'm pretty sure Diablo was a 20 minute fight for my team. Which consisted 3 under leveled characters (46 demon hunter, 45 witch doctor and barb) and one lvl 49 wizard. To even kill the trash we had to just super kite it forever, and for Diablo basically everyone died in the black phase except one, who kited until our clones disappeared and rezzed everyone else, and then we basically stunned her to death. Like, she was stunned for 2 seconds every 4 seconds.

Oh and did I mention that none of the bosses in Nightmare drop yellow items? Except for this one wand I got off Diablo, none of the other bosses dropped shit for shit. I was under the impression that they dropped a yellow the first time you killed a big boss no matter what, but nope, they drop blue items that are worse than things I find off of dead bodies in the middle of a level.

Hell is gonna be a !@#$%, and I'm not sure how much I'm looking forward to it if act 4 Nightmare was this hard >.>

Go back though diablo and the trash leading up to her. Get some gear and levels before you head into hell. You probally want to hit level 48-50 before you try or its going to be... well.... hell

There is a massive step up in difficulty from Normal/Nightmare to Hell.

Gear isn't influenced by who you play with. All drops are related to you and only you, regardless of Co-Op or Single player. Only the Life/Strength of monsters is affected.

Soloing Act II hell at the moment as a barb.
By god you need to re-do your skills pretty badly compared to nightmare. Running a super defensive / live gain build just to even stay alive against rare / named mobs.

What's the worst combination you've had so far, mine's an arcane enchanted, frost enchanted, waller with goddamn invincible minions....took me longer to kill than the Butcher!

Anything arcane enchanted with stuns, or just a Pack of arcane enchanted who summon 5 intercrossing beams that you're in the middle of. I thought you needed good awareness in WoW, but holy crap if you don't pattention in diablo you're dead instantly.

Requiring farmed gear is the best way for them to make the RMAH attractive. If you didn't feel you needed gear you wouldn't spend money.

Pretty much. I like how a ton of the "This game is too easy"-posts have ceased after people have actually gotten out of Normal and into Nightmare and beyond.

I've done the first act of Nightmare alone and didn't get even one yellow item. Seems like the drop rates are tuned up only for the first kill on normal.

This was asked about at blizzcon, and all they could say was "Diablo is not bound by simple things such as gender and can take many forms. No one has ever actually seen Diablo's true form."

In D3 'it' is in female form.
