Mouseover in pvp

Hello,

I havnt done much pvp, but mainly been doing pve and been doing this quite a lot as a healer. Here I use Vuhdo which I love. But I was thinking is there an addon that can do the same as Vuhdo but with enemy targets? Example, when i play on my rogue, I would have a list of the enemy targets in the Arena and I would want right click on my mouse to be blind for example and left click to be gouge, so that I wouldnt have to leave my target. I know there I can make a macro where I would need to click a button while mouse-over the enemy, but I would prefer if I could have the names listed up like Vuhdo, just with the enemy targets.

I hope my question is understandable, and thanks in advance for any help given

Im not 100% sure what you are looking for but i think the functions you seek are available with gladius, an arena addon.
There you can setup what right and left-mouse buttons will do. Default is left click for targeting and right click for setting focus.

But I dont want to target the guy I want to blind, sap etc. I do believe gladius shows all enemy targets tho, but I want to be able to just mouseover and left/right click depending on skill and then casting without switching as mentioned.

You can bind left/right-mb so that when you click the portrait in gladius then it will cast the specified spell and you dont even have to change your current target.

Mousing over to do anything at all in pvp is BAD. Plain and simple. Use your mouse to move, not for anything else.

I use a razer naga with mouseover macros on my warlock, for stuff like fear, fel flame for totems and certain dots, does that make me bad??..no because i can still move around with my mouse, mouseover macros works fine might not for you just don't call people using it bad as it ain't a bad thing to use i'm afraid...

I'm afraid that it is. I also have a razer naga, but i would never ever use mouseover's nor advice anyone to do so. Because it is plain bad. When you release your mouse from movement to get the cursor to a target you cannot properly move. That can be lethal.

I have only played melee, so i can't speak for the movement activity of a ranged class.. But i can say that it will always be better in any scenario what so ever not to use mouseover macros. Might work, but it's far from good.

I would like to hear someone at 3k rating commenting this. Tab-targetting all the totems instead of mouseover felflame to get those specific totems

OP: Gladius all the way, focus macros if you have the keybind space / want to get used to it.

I'm sorry what? it's not bad you never release your hand from the naga if you have mouse over macros bound to the keys on the side geez man, sure you have only tested this from melee i can agree on that, but tab targetting as a ranged is just stupid as tab targetting don't always target the right totem in this case, i don't see why you wouldnt advise people to use mouseover macros if they have a naga which again you never release your hand from!

So by your logic if i release my hand of 1 button for a second people will notice, what if i am still running around but just not hitting a button for a second, is that bad no afraid it aint, i don't see any evidence other then what you are trying to say that makes the arguement come over to your favor.

Oh and decent ratings? You mean like 2.2k+, which, no offense to the OP, doesn't seem likely he would be asking if he were remotely close.

In short, I got pissy the moment you entered a pvp thread about someone who is just learning, and started swinging around your pvpenis. not necessary dude. help the guy and move on.
