with DI the cap for the additional combustion tick is 1574; this is because of rounding issues (same like 1996 vs 2005)...

edit: including 5% raidbuff and 3% NP obviously...

You're gear is better than mine, so you're fine as far as I can tell, but with one exception: Replace the Agi/Haste gem in your helm with a SP/Haste gem. I assume that was a brainfart when you clicked the item on the AH? :P All your other gems are good. Try to get more haste, if possible. You look to be in the same situation as me -- possibly can't get more haste from your current gear, so all you/we can do is raid Dragon Soul for new gear.

mage above me, I'm sure you know but your off hit by .01% it prob doesnt miss anyways, otherwise looking pretty decent. then again I know nothing about mages. Played a feral tank druid and DK for all of my wow career

Only thing I noticed on yours is the gem in your shoulders.
You could put a 40int in there and still keep your haste high enough for an extra tick i think

I would revert the two mastery/crit>haste reforges as beyond the 2005 plateau haste's value drops heavily in comparison.

Should also look at reforging into hit rather than gemming for it and don't go for socket bonuses unless they're +20 int, especially not by using an int/haste gem. You have enough stats room to go full +40 int gems and reforge into what you need.

6/10 just cuz you know what you need, just going about it the wrong way.

Yep, I realize that. I can't say that I've ever noticed any misses at inopportune moments. I usually check the DM and or WoL for any misses. So far I've been lucky. I might fiddle with reforging later, but for now I'm satisfied. (Used Rawr, btw.)

Biggest thing I see is the missing .14% hit but other than that your fine. ( I pick on the hit because I would hate to lose a combust to it >< )

Very nice, boe bracers already with epic gems, quite jealous :P. You could drop the reforge of Haste > Crit on your boots and still be over the 2005 mark, other than that spot on
