Best way to farm BoE Northrend greens

I did remaining quests when I did this. But I was also straight out broke.

Buying a bunch of cobalt or saronite ore went well for me. Make horned cobalt helmets and craft rings to d/e. I tired Naxx 10 trash and didn't get very many greens at all for the time it took. Utgarde Pinnacle was good to me. If you can handle it, Pit of Saron is also good, but you might run into instance reset timer issues if all you do is the initial trash.


For anyone looking to farm Cata mats I'd recommend the elite dragons with low HP in Deepholm. I can almost oneshot them on my warrior, they drop 3 gold worth of gold and vendor trash, and drop greens. And of course the Elementium shuffle.
