because for me, as a warcraft 3 player, the overall story feels ... degenerated compaired to the rts classic.

i remember when night elves were wild, where humans were proud and noble ( not all ofcourse), when the hordes past deeds weren't retconned and whitewashed, but they moved forward with a clear vision. when villians had a shade of grey to them without nearly them all suddenly succumbing to the obligatory madness.

when all factions had a purpose and you didn't feel like " why aren't they doing anything to stop them, etc etc"

i still have chills running down my spine when i see this
