/shrug. I put it on 1280x768(even though it says 1280x720 is native) and it looks much better than anything I've tried. We'll save up and get a better monitor soon, thank you Rem and Uggor for ze help!
take yours off, test and see if it fixes problem. If so, buy DVI cable and profit. If not, need new monitors.

Yes, plural. Everyone needs multiple monitors, and they HAVE to match!

I have never ever heard of that happening. Never once have I been given the option to select a res that my monitor is not capable of. That's quite odd.

I have yet to have problems with HDMI \o/
I also like the fact that HDMI doesn't have those stupid tiny screws.

I used 1 DVI for my main, HDMI for my secondary (because I can easily switch the input into it from my monitor to my TV via the same cable as my PS3).

But I also have like 5 extra DVI cables

Would a vga cable be better? I have one of those laying around.

I'd give you an inch, you'd take me a mile, your tail wagging happily all the while.

My set up is strange. My 'main' monitor has it set up to a tv tuner and well, my computer. The 2nd monitor is set up also switchable to my other computer which I'm contemplating what to do with it.

DVI supports higher resolutions, the connection is more secure, the pins create a MORE secure/stable connection. All in all, DVI beats HDMI in every single way.

This is relevant how? I'm confused. You mean they don't come with 2 DVI cables, right? As they shouldn't. But if you have 2 monitors, each one of them will have 1 DVI cable.

Those screws are beyond infuriating to fiddle with. I like being able to just plug the damn cable in instead of getting pissed at those stupid tiny screws.

Well, I was joking how a monitor doesn't have two DVI ports. Don't think it'd work.

Do you have monstrously large hands? Those screws are hardly difficult to deal with unless you're screwing them in to a point of tightness that exceeds lug nuts being power torqued on in a NASCAR pit stop.

Maybe you just have very small hands
