It's the CPU that processes video rendering. Unless your software supports Cuda.

http://wiki.blender.org/index.php/Do.../GPU_Rendering
GPU rendering makes it possible to use your graphics card for rendering, instead of the CPU. This can speed up rendering, because modern GPU's are quite designed to do a lot of number crunching. On the other hand, they also have some limitations for rendering complex scenes, due to more limited memory, and interactivity issue when using the same graphics card for display and rendering.
It might be something specific with 3d rendering? =/
It's a choice, use the CPU or the GPU (if supported). Try both, see which is quicker.
That quote is from the wiki of the program he's using
I don't know, you really expect me to read?!
Id' use neither if the render farms were working :x

You obviously read some of it to come to your conclusion.
Never made/rendered anything in Blender, but I never had any problems with speed of rendering things in Sony Vegas (video footage) with my CPU, but then, my computer is half decent.

A quick glance says it probably isn't too NSFW. (But it is about boobs, so it obviously is in the basic sense)
