I like the smaller target... so.. what profession are you choosing with Asura and why

Smaller target, maybe. However, they're also the perfect size for punting! I hope there's some mini game or event where we get to punt asura.

So I tried all the classes and all the skills in PVP MODE. These are my favorite so far in order of my favorite! Now to decide on a race!!

1. Guardian / Thief
2. Elementalist
3. Warrior / Necro
4. Engineer
5. Ranger

Any ideas on how to choose a race? I'm pretty sure I want Asura for PVP. I might be able to then make another char for PVE perhaps? Is there any PVE elements that would be beneficial to PVP?

I'm rolling an Asura Mesmer Main and an Asura Ranger alt (initially)

ETA: oops forgot to say why.. Mesmer because i like the whole illusion/phantasm thing. I like tricky I also think it fits well with Asura.

Asura Ranger because i was going to be a Norn ranger until i fell in love with Asura more than i ever imagined, i think after those two i will continue rolling Asura's and start my own lil Asura krewe hehee.

Asura Warrior at launch! Nothing like a fierce little creature waving his Day/Night sword trying to chop your legs off!!!
And reason why I picked asura for my warrior is because I just love the way they carry 2h weapons.

Tab...? I haven't used clicking to target since... well, never really. Even when I first played WoW I used tab.

The game also auto-targets, if you have that enabled. And targeting isn't as important in GW2, anyways.

Ele - coz asura spell animations are amazing.
thief - because asura dodge looks amazing
warrior - because an asura with a greatsword looks amazing.

It's funny because I NEVER roll a magic or "midget" race in my history of playing MMO's. It's always been Hunters/Rogues.

Asura elementalist for me love the animations as much as that annoying little cute race!

Elementalist for me - while I HATE their starter zone, I enjoy everything else about the Asura - although they 'appear' to make some of the jump puzzles more difficult - that's mainly because of our perception.

... and I just love their 'splat' animation !
