    Question for live streamers

I've been trying to get into live streaming but I'm running into a problem.

I've notice when I stream to twitch.tv I get very poor quality, if I try to raise setting any I drop an ungodly amount of frame. Even at low quality I still drop frames and stutter. I can't seem to stream anything over 650 bitrate

Yet If I stream to Own3d.tv I don't drop frames and I'm able to keep the quality watchable.
Here I can run the stream at 1k+ bitrate and not drop a single frame.

Anyone else run into this with twitch? I would prefer to use twitch but can't stand the quality. If I can't get any better I see no reason to stream there and not go with own3d

sometimes running in full screen window mode can help, its stop the blinking effect.

Also what sort of system are you using, and your UL speed.

I always run windowed full screen

    Specs.
    AMD phemon II X4 925 2.8
    8g ram
    win7 64 bit
    560Ti

Still doesn't explain why I can stream to both at the same exact time and get 10x the quality on Own3d.tv

Your ISP may have a better peering path to Owned3d.tv

I have the same issue and my up rate is 3.5, I think.

twitch.tv is known for its bad quality, I'm afraid.
Maybe instagib.tv works better? I also believe justin.tv is quite popular.

I dunno, maybe. I've seen plenty of streamers on Twitch stream fine.

I would have to assume this is the problem. Which is sad as I would prefer to use Twitch. But I can't stand the low qualitiy I would have to stream at.

Correct, justin.tv and Twitch.tv are the same thing, twitch is for gaming and Justin is for everything else.
