I started as human, friend chose Charr, how do we play together?

Total noob question, is there a way to teleport to the other races starting areas so we can quest together from lv 1?

One of you goes to your racial city, and takes the portal to lions gate, then there are portals in lions gate to all the racial cities.

I forget what they call it, but in the middle area of Divinity's Edge or w/e the human city is called is a giant teleporter thing, I believe it's purple on your map...there are more than one of them in the human city so make sure you go to the one on the upper level not on the bottom right. Go in there, and there will be four other portals. The char city near the char starting zones is one of them if I recall correctly from my exploring.
