Texans always talk like they would win some war for their independence. Good news for them, none of us would fight to keep them....

Hawaii if you don't include Oahu.
High concentration of military+ Racist and unfriendly locals= a bad time.

    Gorgeous weather though.

If you include Oahu however, I would say Florida. I love Hispanics and their culture, pretty good weather (except all those pesky hurricanes), and Disney World. DISNEY WORLD.

Texas. We have it all : beaches, mountains, plains big cities, small towns, everything.

I liked what I saw of Houston, Dallas, Rockwall and San Antonio when I visited Texas. I just haven't been enough places to make an assessment.

Oregon. Because no matter where you work, you will get paid at least 9 dollars an hour. That includes pizza delivery and waiting tables - employers can't pull that 3 dollars an hour crap that they can in other states because of tips.

And the best part? People still tip! Minimum wage can provide a living here.

Also, privately owned coffee shops. Everywhere. Way better than Starbucks.

im a "grass is always greener" type when i think on this. doesnt matter where i live, any time i go on a road trip i look around and thing "it would be kind of cool to live here!" there are a few exceptions, but most have their own beuty to offer imo. that said, im not much of a city person, very much prefer more rural environment

If I had to pick a state I would aim for Oregon or Washington. I do love me some rain. Oh and stay away from Kansas, super crazies live there. :S
33 states get more rain in Oregon (last time I checked), despite popular opinion, Oregon, as a whole, does not get a lot of rain. We have a lot of desert.

Portland, on the other hand, gets quite a bit.

Where is the AZ love at?!?! I don't know of any other state where the only thing that can kill you is a gun or the heat!

Texas. Sure it gets hot but the heat attracts hot women from around the world to come to the my small home town outside SA too float the Guadalupe River and ingest copious amounts of alcohol.

I would say its like fish in a barrel but its more like a fish jumping out of the water already cooked with a side of fries.

Not to mention more Texans go into the military than any other state and most of us down here own fire arms. If there was a battle royal then Texas would own.
New York would whoop your ass. We are so gangsta that our guns have guns.
