Hy,
i want to level BS with my Monk just for the 2 bonus sockets.
Is it enough to level it to 400 to get these sockets or do i need to level further once mop comes out?

It's currently 400 for the sockets.
No clue if Mop changes anything.

400 for sockets, but you need 550 BS skill to make sockets in 416ilvl+ gear. they updated the tooltip: "Permanently add a socket to your bracers of level 416 or lower. blablabla. Upon reaching 550 skill in blacksmithing the level limitation will automatically be increased."

You need only to skill to 550 is that then easy from 525 to get 550
i have on my Monk already mats for 1-525 but can i get 25 skill points with cata mats as well ???

Like the other professions, I believe it will be possible to hit up to 540 with Cata Mats.
