Then they helped front money for Avengers and other Marvel films that are actually good.

Announce they want to continue the Star Wars franchise passed Episode 6 and turn it into a kind of James Bond series. George Lucas is not involved.

Pixar makes great movies, so I'm not so much worried about the show's quality, per-say (although, Disney could easily replace the entire staff with their own team who could easily butcher it...just saying), but rather the effect such a purchase could have on the community as a whole.
