My mom might be losing her job at the first cause the manager is fucking terrible and running the business into the ground. My mom is gonna talk to the head dude today (she works as a bartender at the VFW, basically the liquor law we passed a while back increased the taxes so much and they are too chickenshit to make cuts of dumb ass spending). Pretty much all her co-workers know this bullshit so it'll be an interesting few weeks.

But I don't want to just know "it's the best". I want to know WHY it's the best. What is it that makes it so awesome? What makes it stand out from other RPGs?

Yeah, wind back about 6 years ago we were in the same boat. If my dad gets this new job we can probably get by without my mom working. But we haven't heard anything yet after the two interviews.

As far as I know JRPG is something turn based with enemies appearing at random like pokemans, so I guess Dark Souls is an ordinary RPG but with an actual combat.

It's an action RPG and it's really cool and fun and more opinion.

Really though I'm not sure I can recommend buying the PC version if you aren't already a fan of the game. It's not the worst port in history, but it's pretty lame in a few aspects. Like needing a mod to unlock 1080p resolution and needing a controller. It's keyboard/mouse controls are bad.
