why do we need Expertise? just saw sparkuggz fra method has reforged his crit to expertise... BUT WHY?

Expertise doubles as spell hit. Makes it so classes like Assassination Rogues and Enhance Shamans can just get their 7.5% hit and 7.5% exp to make the 15% spell hit they need.

exactly the same yes. Think of it the same as an ele sham or spriest using spirit as hit, except for locks we can use expertise

Does the expertise from our racial weapons bonus count as spell hit if we're using the appropriate weapon type? I've not got hold of a sword yet to check.
