Anyone else try using Illusion on NPCs in Pandaria?
So far I've used it on two pandas and turned into a dwarf and a draenei

yea ive used illusion about 5 times now and i have never turned into what i was trying to turn into, its always some random troll, so i stopped trying
Haven't tried it on any NPCs recently, but you CAN use it on a raid member while they're inside of Elegon's circle in Mogu'shan Vaults and become the constellation-being.

illusion is meant to be cast on player targets. casting it on npc's will just randomly turn you into some other race.
What is illusion? Where can i get it?
Illusion is a minor glyph that adds a spell to your book.
Between the 5.0.4 patch and the MoP launch I had a few times where the ability went on cooldown, I gained the buff, but my own model and gear remained. I haven't tried it since.
Illusion only work on other players and detects via proximity rather than targetting.
Stand on top of the person you want to turn into and enjoy two minutes of being a spellcasting bear (because let's face it, there's no point using it on anyone but a shapeshifted druid).
If there were any other minor glyphs worth having I wouldn't even have bothered putting this one in.
It works with druids in travel form, then I mirror image and have a stampede of MAGE
Blizzard might have fixed this, but it's fun to combine with rogues.
1. Get a rogue friend with their fancy new pickpocket glyph.
2. Send rogue friend to Zul Gurub.
3. Rogue friend pickpockets the Gurubashi Berserker style mobs. (Rogue friend ports to town if you want)
4. Stand under Rogue friend and cast Illusion.
5. Drink Darkmoon Firewater.
6. Cast Hero.
7. Pop Mirrors.
8. lol all over town.
try castin it on someone dancing at a Braizer of dancing flame and boom your now a tiny burning tentacle thingy xD
