Current state of star citizen is really bad.
Lots and lots of bugs, nothing new in game. They failed to release anything on the timeline.
Noone knows if server mashing gonna happen, they have no idea how to do it so they couldn't do it until today.
They couldn't even release single player version so do not expect any mmo in next 9 years at least.
The code and game engine are so bad, they expecting the hardware sector to make a huge leap instead of fixing the code.
Most of the devs that work there are actually people who were recruited as analysts with no proper previous experience.
The turbulent was a scam all along, it was a way for CR to suck some more funding from CIG since CR owned some of Turbulent.
There is no flight model still, all these years they couldn't make it, don't expect that fix anytime soon either.
Everything is like flying bricks.
Game already looks old now compared to latest game releases but not as old as Gary Oldman.
pretty sure his angle wasn't "The game needs more money, please swipe now so they can continue doing the good works", but was rather "The game always needs more money. If you stop throwing cash at it like it's a divebar stripper you are trying to get to open her legs for you, maybe they will wise up and start spending their cash on the important shit, instead of lighting it on fire buying office furniture and overpriced wall art."

To date, Star Citizen has pretty much completely failed to meet every expectation it has ever set. This is literally provable by simply following every delayed release and missed feature straight from the devs themselves. The fact that they may have eventually gotten some shit right, years after they promised it, is not "meeting" expectations, let alone exceeding them.
If they had ever "exceeded" expectations, they would have a fully functional, finished project that released years ago.

I don't know about you guys but this shit is pretty fucking hilarious to me, Star Citizen reddit simping for CiG, spamming the the place with appreciation posts for them not being able to deliver shit, the refunds sub simping for Bethesda, trying to blow Starfield out of proportion while attempting to justify pre-orders after refunding Star Citizen... fucking great popcorn material.
Can't wait for CitizenCon (what a fitting name!) I hope the leaks come true, can't wait for ANSWER THE CALL 2023, NOT-A-DATE!
Ahahahaha!
Thats where you have been proven wrong, the evidence is already there in the alpha exceeding expectations every single patch, every single games company is existance has to delay releases of patches and features but you dont see it because development is mostly behind closed doors because that is the simple reality of games development.
How long it takes to develop a game is completely different to exceeding expectations for its developed features.
Its pretty easy to understand why a massive MMO is taking long to develop and thats the reality of games development, if you make a very large MMO and a single player game its going to take a long time to develop, complaining about how long its taking to develop is not a valid complaint, games take as long as they need to develop its just basic common sense and logic.
STAR-J4R9-YYK4 use this for 5000 credits in star citizen
Kek, mofos be like...
- Announce video game for 2014.
- Take your money for it in advance.
- Sell you "microtransactions" up to thousands of dollars for over a decade.
- 2023, $600 million dollars later, still no game.
Kenn9530: A completely natural phenomenon, every video game company does it!
Ahahahaha!
At this point I'm certain "that poster" is either a bot, someone who drank too much of the kool-aid, or a person with a severe disorder. Either way, interacting with them is a huge waste of energy. On that note, Star Citizen in 2123?
