Seriously i dont understand why people can't seem to understand the baseline of this thread. Improve the mage above you. Imo every single mage who only links his armory but doesn't give a feedback on the mage before him (who also gave feedback to the previous post before him) should be skipped.

Feedback is an effective way of learning, for you and for others.

Dude there are flatout how to play mage threads in this forum, every single bit of how to reforge/how to gem/how to enchant info comes from them. You don't need any skill in order to give feedback out someone armory, just research. If you have expierience ingame then you could add extra tips&tricks in your feedback it's simple as that.

If people take the time to spend 5 more minutes on the mage section searching for the guides then none of the feedback should contain that someone should get the haste cap or to enchant your shoulder etc.

Effective feedback should mostly consist a better way to reforge to reach the caps such as hit and haste cap, something that the player himself did not notice. Perhaps other detailed way to get more stats out of gemming or a recommendation in changing a specific item which is not as good as the player thought it was. This feedback can be given if you take the time to learn the basics that are being explained in the general guides about mages, the rest depends on you taking your time to look at the players armory and see for better ways to reach caps or to find out ways how to improve DPS.

@Vynestra ; You seem to have everything under control, I'd just get rid of that hideous Brewfest trinket asap and grind a new set of bracers (maybe get the VP ones?) Also how did Lifeblood scale up? I'm not sure but I don't think Herbalism is worth it as a raiding profession. Maybe consider swapping that out once you've gathered enough cash and can level up something like tailoring/enchanting.

@ trixzy get more crit gear/int enchant on the bracers/master spellthread on the legs/jade spirit on your weapon/belt buckle. Fix all these and you could see a rather noticeable increase in your dps

All well reforged/gemmed. Just 0,05% under hitcap but that's fine. Also everything epic apart from two things. Good luck on that

I use rawr a lot for optimisation and reforging and I would change to nether tempest if I was actually raiding. I think I've done alright since I've got no raid gear or anything from galleon.

All in all pretty good. Although hybrid gems seem to provide more than flat int gems so you should look into that. Also you could reforge 182 of your haste into crit cus you're kinda low on crit and already you're hitting the +2 extra tick for combustion (unglyphed) at 4021 haste so if you drop that 182 haste into crit you'll still hit this extra tick AND you'll still also get the GCD cap for inferno blast with lust up.

edit: nvm.. you're not fire.. I should have looked at that first lol. The gem part still stands though, I don't know too much about frost stat weights so I can't give you much feedback there.

edit2: also you said you use rawr, which is good for optimization, but simcraft is considerably more accurate. If for some reason simcraft is a little hard to run/work with then I also have good output from using www. askmrrobot .com. Not saying rawr isn't accurate, just in the past I've had better numbers with Simc. Just a tip :3

I would like nothing better than exact stat weights but last time I tried simcraft I couldn't get it even close to working. I'm also in the group of those who hate askmrrobot. As for stat priorities with frost it's not as clear as fire. There's a general accepted priority but from what I've been reading it might not be the only way to do it or even the best.

Nice to see the stretch for exp to grab the hit cap. Everything seems fine, enchants are there, gems look good. Everything checks out.

All in all you did everything fine.
What u could try is to get rid of the pure hitgems for more crit by reforging some haste/mastery to expertise e.g.

Your haste is a bit low: Aim for 3056 hast (add ticks lb/nt and gl. comb) - reforge lite helps a lot^^
Bracer Enchant is the cheap one. Int is certainly better
Use expertise on gloves instead of haste

Rest seems perfectly fine.

you lack hit rating, tho your crit rating is pretty good. I guess you use calculators for reforging? I would do it a bit different tho (not using calc.) --> hit cap, like 3100 haste and then only crit rating.

update: really strange. armory is showing me different values. here are my ingame values.
hit: 4990 (15.18%)
crit: 4737
haste: 3392
mastery: 2228

i'd use temporal shield for most encounters.
also maybe use arkmrrobot or wowreforge.com as it seems you got a little bit much hit.
your spec is frost atm but it seems like you use fire normally so all enchants/gems are right.
oh and NT > LB in most cases...dno maybe you specced for a multi target fight or whatever...
seems pretty much like 100% of what's possible with your gear.

Toon is hit capped Expertise is not calculated properly in arsenal at the moment + 1% Draenei = 15,02 %
