I personally hate it.
It's good the way it is ONYX with a bit of jewels from every source.
It looks elegant and decent for what it is.

Rainbow trails might be nice (if that isn't normal), but onyx/black is the better base color imo.

Honestly? I feel like if I saw somebody riding that, they would want to taste my rainbow.
Personally, I think the design should be something translucent and colourless.

Neither. Gemstones are solid objects. The pigments wouldn't just magically mix together. Take some Red paper and some blue paper, cut them into tiny bits, and then mix them together, and you don't get a pile of purple paper. An example of multiple pigments in a gemstone would be Bloodstone. Sometimes they look pure red, sometimes they look pure green, often times, they look green with specs of red, sometimes they look red with specs of green. Originally Posted by Grym

I like the idea of the original post, and I think this translucent one is much better. It still has all the colors that make it more visually interesting than the official model, but it's not as bright and saturated as the original, still keeping a bit of "onyx" and not going over the top with colors.
I realize it's a crude photoshop (as the OP describes it) but I can see a lot of potential in this new skin. Well done

I love how half the haters can't voice their negative opinions without being disrespectful.
Looks like being good people is hard nowadays.
BTW, I would craft the mount in a heartbeat. I love it.
