Many bands seem to peak with their debut album. Or they have one really great album and then fade quickly. What are some bands who cranked out several albums in a row that were high-quality? Hopefully 4 or more in a row.

The Beatles
'Twas a cutlass swipe or an ounce of lead
Or a yawing hole in a battered head
And the scuppers clogged with rotting red
And there they lay I damn me eyes
All lookouts clapped on Paradise
All souls bound just contrarywise, yo ho ho and a bottle of rum!
Led Zeppelin I, II, III, untitled IV. Can't get easier really.
early nine inch nails
If everything I do is wrong then by god ill do it right
Metallica early albums were amazing
Rancid and The Hives for example. there are plenty of great bands with 4 or more high-quality albums out there.
Machine Head & Metallica if you ask me.
Just to say something different, most of the Nightwish albums are all pretty amazing in my opinion.
Led Zeppelin, Queen, Metallica and such are all of course excellent bands with amazing albums as well.

I would disagree on NIN. I think the brilliance of Downward Spiral colors the perception of the other albums, which I think range from good but overrated to just not that good.
I would nominate RHCP for this if you can get past the fact that One Hot Minute is just solid and not really great. Blood Sugar Sex Magik, One Hot Minute, Californication, By The Way, and Stadium Arcadium is a pretty sick run of albums.
Megadeth, Slayer, Anthrax, Iron Maiden, Black Sabbath to name a few.
I would include U2 in this list. People will have different tastes as to which block of 4 consecutive albums were well-received, but I would suggest Unforgettable Fire, Joshua Tree, Rattle and Hum, and Achtung Baby as a solid 4-in-a-row.
I have to throw Foo Fighters in the pool then.

I'm a pretty big Radiohead fan so everything by them is great to me. I cannot find a track on any of Armin van Buuren's albums that I can find fault with.
Although I do not particularly like his work any more (since I grew out of rap a long time ago), you have got to admit that DMX has had a pretty good run. His first five albums all debuted at number 1 on Billboard 200
U2, Foo Fighters, Metallica, Led Zeppelin...
And now just to get another genre on the table - Rihanna
Radiohead, Soundgarden, Rise Against, Chevelle and Pearl Jam just to name a few. Other genres, I have no idea.

Justin Beiber, hands down.. amazing artist, really good image - roll model for young men. Desired by all young women. Jealous haters gonna hate - especially any rock fans... lol rock and roll like that takes any talent, not even 1 % of what it takes to make the beauty Beiber makes.
