If going with headphones, I'd highly recommend a pair with a detachable/replaceable cord.

I think most of those might be over your budget (didnt see your budget the first time). I prefer relatively flat headphones like Sennheisers. I like the current 598 which is very comfortable but it doesn't have exaggerated bass like you'd find on something like Beats. It might not be to your taste.
