So, Steam is packed with insanely cheap and amazing games. I wanted to get your guy's favorite games. I don't purchase many but I do every now and then.

The only game I have bought recently is Torchlight, which is pretty awesome.

Also Audiosurf and AaAaAa - A Reckless Disregard for Gravity.

Tf2 (which is free to play). And like guy above me said, Left 4 Dead 2, as well as Portal and the Half-Life series. Anything made by valve!

Left 4 dead, is there matchmaking with random players with that? Also, isnt it just essentially killing zombies over and over? I heard it's quite repetitive.

I don't think that's a very fair summation; you could just as easily label TF2 as just "killing players over and over".

Some of my favorites that appear on Steam:

- TF2
- Portal 2
- Orcs Must Die! 2
- Deus Ex: Human Revolution
- The Binding of Isaac (very, very underrated. At the very least check this gem out. Just know that it's pretty hard, and you WILL die. A LOT.)
- Terraria

As said above , Counter-Strike , Team Fortress 2 , Day of Defeat: Source , any Half-Life game ( including Half-Life 2: Deathmatch ). I also like to play CoD4 through steam aswell as games like swtor , but those arent Valve games tho

The vs mode can be fun. You have 4 players each side. Each side takes turns being Survivors and Zombies. The zombies have a bunch of different classes that can do certain things. For example, a boomer has low HP and vomits on people. The vomit attracts NPC zombies to attack the ones who are hit. When you kill a boomer it explodes.

They keep it interesting with the many different classes.

Zombie mod on Counter-Strike brings killing over and over again to a new level ^^ - i agree , TF2 is just killing over and over again - but theres too much rampage to make it boring while being repetitive

I'm waiting on a job so I can get some games that I really want to play, like Worms and the Ys series.

For now, Magic: The Gathering Duels of the Planeswalker 2012 (can they possibly make that title longer?) and Torchlight 2 are really the only two I play.

Too many to choose from. I use steam for practically all my gaming media and I buy pretty much most major title releases in the action/rpg/strategy genres...

But according to time most played, it looks like Dota 2, Rift, Evil Genius, Borderlands 2, MtG Duels of the Planeswalkers, TL2, ME 1 + ME2, Tropico 4, Fall out New Vegas, Xcom, Deus Ex: HR, Dishonored, Anno 2070...

All great games Those are my top played out of my 170+ games on steam!
