Why do people still gank lower level players?

Why else would a level 90 player gank a level 60 and not fight with another 90?
You don't have to be a psychologist to see there is a problem there; obvious is obvious.

I fight other 90's I enjoy Fighting other 90's, I do BG's and Arena TO fight other 90's

I also Enjoy killing anyone that is on the opposite faction regardless of level.

It has nothing to do with people only being able to gank people lower then them. It simply comes down too "Oh look that person has a red name, which means I can attack them", I generally just attack anyone with a red name without even checking their levels.

It is of no consequence to me if they are low or equal level. They still have the same death animation.

While that may be true in some cases you can't claim that to be an all encompassing reason, or fact. Doing so just detracts from any reasonable arguement.

Blizzard should have looked at WAR's way to handle it and copy it tbh. It's very simple, if you walk around in low level pvp zones, as a much higher level than the people there, you get transformed into a chicken with one HP. That way world pvp was fun and did not create imbalance based on high level gankers.

I will kill anyone that is flagged regardless of level, but I won't camp anyone unless they've pissed me off with some initially-bad behavior (i.e. stealing MY nodes and then /giggle or /wink or some other peevish activity).

Depends how often he crosses my Path, and what race/class he is.

Also if he tries to take my farming nodes, he dies. "BAD LOWBIE, THAT IS MY MATERIALS!"

The thing is if you were role playing, people could more accept it. I role play as a paladin. Undead is dead, Horde is dead and their allies as that's Kevyne's holy mission, smiting evil and those against his people, etc., etc..

But PvPers rarely if ever RP.

I rarely touch low level toons. I sometimes appear on my Rogue and point at them and laugh in a threatening sort of way and that puts the fear of god into them, then I leave. There is no honour in killing a low level guy. I dont mean honor points.

However I always attack people of similar levels when out in the world. This has gotten me hammered a few times but that is the way of PvP. Other times I have owned some scum bag horde filth. They all deserve it :-)

However Blood elf Paladins deserve everything they get.

1v1 at equal or almost equal lvl is fine, but when its 5v1 or someone 40 lvls over u,that is griefing, plain and simple
