No Most Pre built systems aren't worth it

how well will they do for gaming?

Not that well both of them have really crappy gfx cards
And there CPUs aren't that good ether

I would recommend building your own.
That way you get the most bang for your buck.

And building your own pc is not that hard ether
There are tons of guides on youtube.
Besides most PC repair places can build the pc for you for a small fee.
Or you can ask a computer savy friend to help you out.

you can look at Marest's Sample Builds over here

Both of those are really for what they cost, they can't even be called gaming PC's because they barely have graphics cards. More like Facebook/Youtube machines.

Not only is assembling your own incredibly easy these days (like lego) but you will get a PC that is literally 5x better than the ones you listed and still costs less.

Here's what I quickly put together:

PCPartPicker part list / Price breakdown by merchant / Benchmarks

    CPU: Intel Core i5-3570K 3.4GHz Quad-Core Processor (£168.94 @ Amazon UK)
    Motherboard: ASRock Z77 Pro3 ATX LGA1155 Motherboard (£76.00 @ Amazon UK)
    Memory: Corsair Vengeance 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1600 Memory (£29.59 @ Scan.co.uk)
Storage: Western Digital Caviar Blue 500GB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive (£43.99 @ Amazon UK)
    Video Card: Gigabyte Radeon HD 7850 1GB Video Card (£142.54 @ Scan.co.uk)
Case: NZXT Source 210 (White) ATX Mid Tower Case (£31.18 @ Scan.co.uk)
    Power Supply: XFX 450W 80 PLUS Bronze Certified ATX12V / EPS12V Power Supply (£39.54 @ Amazon UK)

    Total: £531.78
(Prices include shipping, taxes, and discounts when available.)
WoW Character: Wintel - Frostmourne (OCE)
    Gaming rig: i7 7700K, GTX 1080 Ti, 16GB DDR4, BenQ 144hz 1440p
