How the fuck can you keep your costs down to around 4,000 SEK? I get 5,500 DKK and that barely covers rent. I could take a loan as you can, but I feel the same way. I don't want to owe anything.

A dummy guide to CSN (the government funded money for students in Sweden):

If you study at 100% speed and deliver good enough grades then you can get 2780 SEK just like that every month. 2780 SEK is mostly not even enough to pay rent.

However you can, on top of these 2780, also borrow a lot more cash (2780 + X amount) going up to above 8000 SEK per month. It's a pretty low interest, so it's ok to borrow the money.

I, on the other hand, having worked a year and saved up capital, don't borrow money. I am in zero debt to anyone and I absolutely love it. I keep my costs down to around 4000 SEK per month in total and I take what I need out of my own bank account on top of what I already get. Has worked fine so far and I'm gonna keep doing it. Plan is to owe the state almost nothing when I graduate. And then once I got my job I'm gonna swim in cash. Yeah.

AAAaaaaahhh, so it's similar to the system over here. but here it's little more of high notes that they ask and paying around 300-400$. But each semester, not monthly.
