Defending bases is just hopeless. It's absolutely terrible.

SOME recoil is to be expected. That's different. but the spread on these guns? If you tried selling this garbage to ANY military today they'd shoot you themselves. And the 'burst' mode is bullshit. 1 bullet per pull of the trigger with 10 times the kick of 5 in auto. exCUSE me?

Well, I've seen a few AMAZING defenses with the defenders using a ridgeline to their advantage while the enemy was forced to take pop shots or charge hopelessly. It eventually failed due to a few enemy fighters taking out all the tanks while the tanks stormed in. But this was after a outfit finally organized and after four hours of defending.

In theory the game is amazing, and I hope other companies start following this MMOFPS Practice of Free to Play, but with incentive to give them some money. But in practice that game has a few flaws that would never get me to pay 15$'s a month for it. Maybe after a few patches, and a few random super units like a Frigate Vehicle.

Yeah, I was tired of it in the first couple of days. You can fight the whole day, and take over 75% of the map just for everyone on your faction to log off and have a population unbalance kill all your effort.

Meh. The naval patch should be fun at least. I actually enjoy running from fight to fight. They just need to make DEFENDING worth a damn, I'm VERY defensive player by nature. Check corners, stay behind cover, check my six every couple of seconds. (Yet somehow some little ass always makes it behind me even with me being more paranoid than Stalin.) If they made Engi turrets useful at ALL I'd be a happy camper in terms of them. (Some head cover, the ability to damage vehicles.)
