I knew next to nothing before I began to use this thread, just recently I began to be able to badly edit stuff.

almost all my sigs i use transparencies to clean up edges to make em look prettier, which can start looking very bad once it starts compressing the colours :P

or when using gradients, see how the background has solid lines, originally it was an even progressive blend, but because there wasn't enough room on the pallet it had to compress the colours to the nearest optimal ones to fit the pallet.
