Archeology on/off with every log in/off? Carbonite/Google like scroll maps?

I have had Archeology tracking on both the main and the mini map turned off every time I log in a char, any char... How do I keep it on? Since when I use Carbonite, because I love those Google like scroll maps(!), I cannot turn archeology/digsite tracking back on on that map... So it's either no digsites, or no handy map... Are there any map add-ons that work like Carbonite's Google like maps with the option to keep archeology digsite tracking on 24/7 on all chars?
