Minecraft Plugins

I have no idea if there is a thread about plugins for minecraft....

anyway....

I have come back to minecraft to play again after a break and want to play multiplayer on my server I have....A few of the people want to use plugins and I have no idea how to set them up for the server....

If anyone can respond on what I have to do and download that would be amazing or even if you could come on vent/skype and walk me through It I would love you forever!

You probably want to look into bukkit. Check out http://www.bukkit.org

They have lots of plugins and installation guides, FAQ's etc there that can help you. Unfortunately Bukkit doesn't work with Forge mods. Not sure about modloader mods. Bukkit pretty much is meant for vanilla servers.

There are also Forge based plugins that you can look at, although they're a bit more spread out. Chances are if there is a Bukkit plugin that you want you'll find a Forge version for something similar.

It really just depends what you want to do.
