Damn, I don't like deus ex-like games, but I think it's gonna simply kick ass. And this teaser is simply perfect, quality that I've never seen before.

Eh...I'm all for a good cyberpunk entry (and the vid does show a few quick glimpses of the game world) but I find it incredibly hard to get excited at all about an over stylized trailer that shows zero gameplay. From the vid this looks like it may well just be a standard fps set in the near future, with awful music.

I don't think it's gonna be just standard FPS. CDP RED has a lot of fantastic ideas, so we just have to wait. I'm excited about this after seeing the trailer.
Also, this is what stated a secret message in the video:
"You're problably curios about the release date. It's currently scheduled a way in 2016 but in truth the delivery date is more like "when it's done". We will release Cyberpunk to you when we're convinced it is nothing but pure, refined, uandulterating awesome . We want it to be the most kick ass futuristic RPG ever"

Looks pretty amazing, can't wait for when it comes out.
It's also confirmed to be an open-world game.
Here's the full message from the video:

Transcribed so you don't kill yourself trying to read it:
Do you like our latest creation? We certainly hope so Yo may remember that we sometimes send you guys secret messages like this. It's a great way for us to speak right to you instead of burying ourselves in corporate mumbo-jumbo so let's begin!
First of all - have you noticed all the details in our teaser (yes, it's a teaser. We'll make a proper trailer in the future)? If you know the Cyberpunk setting there are some things you can spot, like implants - look for the weapon hands and the real skin - corporate emblems that should look familiar and more. Happy hunting!
You're probably curious about the release date. It's currently scheduled a way off in 2015 but in truth the delivery date is more like "when it's done". We will release Cyberpunk to you when we're convinced it is nothing but pure, refined, unadulterated awesome. We want it to be the most kick ass futuristic RPG ever - OK, maybe this sounds pretty bully, but it is our actual goal! You judge if we deliver it!
Oh - and you may wonder why we announced our game so early before the release. The reason is that we're still building our dev team so if you are a talented dude or dudette willing to work in a really different company (gamers rule & boring corporate stuff drools!) on a super ambitious project, send us your application right now! careers@cdprojektred.com
So you want to know what kind of game Cyberpunk 2077 will be? The short description is that it will be a story-heavy, nonlinear, open world RPG based on the well known Cyberpunk pen&paper system and setting. Building open world games is something we are mastering right now and we believe that properly joining nonlinear gameplay with an excellent story telling will bring a totally new quality. Mmm... We'll tell some more about it soon!
And that's not all that's new. We are about the reveal our other project which is much closer to being completed and yes, it will also be a fully open-world game with an intense story. You can probably guess the game we're talking about :-) On the 5th of February it will all be clear.
So stay tuned as we will have quite a lot to show and tell you soon!
We are waiting for you on our newly created forum called Afterlife - what other name could we have chosen for it?

Mm, curious to see how different the story will be compared to Deus Ex:HR, while I liked the story of it and loved the world, it wasn't very "dirty", gona be a nice contrast since they're going for a mature theme with Cyberpunk, and CDProject are one of the few devs who can actualy make a mature game. (Looking at you Dragon Age:Origins...)
Oh and Witcher 3 announcement on the 5th of February, hopefully with a sweet gameplay trailer accompanying it.

Game has my hypes up. Don't destroy them please, CD Projekt RED.
So one moral dilema in the game will be about how the police are using these psycho seriel killers, or atleast some of them in the Psycho Squad instead of giving them the death penalty or throwing them in jail. I like it.
Also, since they are apparently gona use the systems from the pen&paper we might see something like cybernetic mods reducing your empathy?
"In the tabletop, Empathy affects the skills: Human Perception, Interview, Leadership, Seduction, Social, Persuasion/Fast Talk, Perform
and so the more cybernetic mods you get, the more trouble you have with all the above - if you hit zero, you become a psycho."
So in essence, upgrading yourself with mods weakens you in other aspects. It would be cool if you could continue playing as a psycho but I don't see it happening.

Aye, ideally I'd like to see a setup where you can either remain more empathetic or increase your cybernetic mods and the way the game plays out is somewhat, hopefully in a large way, effected by that choice/balance. I really hope it's not akin to something like 'You have reached zero and have become a psycho.. Game over'.
Her hall is called Eljudnir,
her dish is Hunger,
her knife is Famine,
her slave is Lazy,
and Slothful is her woman servant.
Yeah, an alternate storyline would be cool, something like, maybe you go crazy and kill a bunch of people, you get recruited to the Psycho Squad like the woman in the trailer, then you go crazy again during the playthrough, kill even more people and that opens a whole can of worms when people realise that you've gone on a rampage before, and you weren't actualy executed/jailed up and start asking questions. I doubt most people would approve of letting seriel killers off the hook, hell you'd think they wouldn't approve of implants if you can so easily go crazy and become a seriel killer because of them.
Gah, this is gona be a long 3 years.
Man, super hyped for this. I used to play the pen and paper game back in high school. Such a long ways off though, bummer.
Well I guess my point was that it is hard for me to garner any enthusiasm at all for a game based on video showing a few minutes of slow-motion bullets flying through the air with the 'Cyberpunk' name stamped on it. Now, the description from the developers on the other hand:
"The short description is that it will be a story-heavy, nonlinear, open world RPG based on the well known Cyberpunk pen&paper system and setting. Building open world games is something we are mastering right now and we believe that properly joining nonlinear gameplay with an excellent story telling will bring a totally new quality. Mmm... is exciting as hell. Just sad that every game these days seems to feel the need to market itself as a full on guns-blazing shooter when many are trying to do something very different. Here's to hoping their game fulfills the promise showed in the quote above.

You know guys, that CD Projekt RED gonna announce The Withcher 3 in February?
As for the trailer, it simply kick ass

Woah now this is a good trailer, I've heared nothing about the game and after watching this I suddenly want to learn all about it.
