Revenge of the Nerds
Animal House
Get a grip man! It's CHEESE!
Don't be a menace to south central while drinking your juice in the hood
The Warriors is awesome.
Here's some other ideas(my tastes lean to action so my list is gonna lean that way too):
Predator 1-2
Conan the Barbarian
Total Recall(really, any old school Arnie movie should qualify, but Commando, Predator, Conan the Barbarian, and Total Recall are the tops for me)
Tango & Cash
the Rambo movies(okay, First Blood is pretty serious, but 2 and 3...not so much)
They Live(must see, directed by John Carpenter, same dude who did Big Trouble in Little China!)
Tremors(awesome awesome)
Aliens
Hard Target(John Woo, Jean Claude Van Damme, and Lance Henricksen!)
Return of the Living Dead(zombie movie with a lot of humor, first to feature "fast" zombies)
Evil Dead 2 and Army of Darkness
The Golden Child(this would be a great double feature with Big Trouble..., Eddie Murphy mixing martial arts and Asian myth and magic with 80's era setting)
Steven Seagal's stuff-Hard to Kill, Marked for Death, and the ultimate, Under Siege, later stuff not as entertaining
Chuck Norris' stuff-Lone Wolf McQuade(featuring a midget as leader of a Mexican drug cartel, and David Carradine as the villain) or Invasion USA for starters.
Lethal Weapon series
48 Hours and Another 48 Hours
Beverly Hills Cop series
Die Hard series
Passenger 57
Harley Davidson and the Marlboro Man
Southern Comfort
Robocop
Ladyhawke, Excalibur, and Robin & Marion if you dig fantasy stuff
Gremlins 1-2
Red Dawn(watch it back to back with Invasion USA for a double dose of "US gets invaded by Commies but a small group fights back and kicks ass")
As for comedies...most of John Candy's stuff. The Great Outdoors, Planes, Trains, and Automobiles, Uncle Buck...
Starship Troopers
/thread
Big Trouble in Little China.

The Mask (Jim Carrey, 1994)
Flubber (Robin Williams, 1997)
Anaconda (Jon Voight, Jennifer Lopez, 1997) (transcends badness to become hilarious)
