These PTSD people seem pretty pathetic, I'm going to read a few articles about this sickness, I don't know much about it.

Let's not belittle people that have or have had PTSD, shall we? It's like living in a constant nightmare, constantly reliving what caused the trauma.

I've had PTSD and I'd hardly consider myself pathetic, nor do I wish to be viewed as such by others.

PTSD is basically "bad shit happens and my brain can't cope." It covers a wide variety of reactions.

I mean, specifically the ones that go to gun ranges knowing they can't handle the sound of gunfire.

While that seems reasonable, sometimes you don't realize something will set you off until it's too late, especially if it's something you're familiar with. I never expected to be unable to sit properly in a chair without having flashbacks, but it happened anyway.
