yoh guys is mass effect a good series? kind of been on a shopping spree on the playstation store.

Mass Effect 1. Well, I liked it, but it isn't perfect by no means. It has flaws. The main story is outstanding, but the side-quests are generic. Game-play is a bit wonky, and you'd need to learn quick with hardly no tutorial. I recommend it, and it is a great game. But it takes some getting used to. I honestly shelved it my first play until Mass Effect 2 got me interested in the franchise. You can skip Mass Effect 1 entirely with a Comic-Version of Mass Effect 1 that fills you in on the happenings of the game, and letting you perform the major decisions.

Mass Effect 2. This game is amazing. The story, the game-play, it characters are all great. It's bioware at its best.

Mass Effect 3 is Mass Effect 2 with a few needed updates. Great game, but the infamous bad ending brought it down some. Get the Directors-Cut verison of the ending for more closure to the franchise.

Overall, YES! Get it.

So i just found this review of aliens colonial marines its just hilarious the screenshots they use in the article is no where close to ingame graphics put on ultra and then there is this line
