I've been thinking about how I wanted to start my fic', and I really like what you did, Bluesparks, with starting it all off with some kind of poem. So I've been working my brain very hard to come up with something that reflects... Giving up, I would say. Which is what my story will be focused around. Acceptance, reflections and good bye's (Yeah, I can see the irony due to recent events, but I've been thinking about this for a long time!)
This is what I got so far. Spoilered because wannabe poetry and such, but I kinda wanted to share it to see if I'm completely off or if this is do-able.
I dream of an Angel. Not when I'm asleep, but a waking dream. I dream that she hug me, embrace me as an equal. And her smell, her touch, her warmth, reminds me of my mother. And I cry into her breast and are reborn. All in her understanding, omnipotent grace.
Can I start a story like that?

Alright, sort of a large post, but I got a lot done at school today.
First up is my very first painting. :O! I can't believe it. Feels long overdue. It's a mono-chromatic from which she wanted us to deal with making different tints, tones, and shades of a single color. She wanted us to start out with blind sketching for it, so that's why it's all abstract.
Even though I completely forgot to put in a background, and doubt I will, because that would be annoying (even though the teacher has now asked me to), I'm pretty happy with it anyways. I can definitely say that I should be more appreciative of having a pen tablet. While the painting itself was more intuitive here then on my tablet, the mixing of colors wasn't nearly as easy to understand as the slider in CS5. Still need to work on it.
Next two are just a couple pony doodles.
This is the cover of my sociology notebook. Kind of smugged a bit of it and missed other bits, but I was just goobing around with a socio-pony.
And the drawing I ended up inking.
