Well, hopefully I'll be motivated enough to start some of the stuff for next week, this week, but history shows that isn't all that likely. At least after next week I'll be on spring break, though, so there's that.

Fuck no! I can already hear the first line in the god damned commercial for it. "My name is Alice. Umbrella left me for dead and has taken over the world." I don't know how many times this company which has not only created zombies, and every other creepy ass thing under the sun, can not kill this woman. The movies haven't even been decent since the second one and even then I want to scratch my eyes out over how bad of an actor she is.

Friend and I are trying to make progression. We're on Act II Inferno at Belial. Got him to 10% or so, but couldn't quite finish him off. Needed better gear. So we did some farming. He got a couple new pieces. I got new pants.

Anno is a logistics simulator more than a city builder

I find it highly improbable that a terrain editor won't show up at some point.

I just hope to god Maxis doesn't give in and try to monetize every little bit of the game.

I still probably won't get it, but it will save several hundred more threads about EA's corporate greed.

Depends on what you're looking for in a game. I found it moderately amusing for... *Checks Steam* ... 84 hours.

You have to harvest raw materials. Then you have to take them to either a warehouse to be stored, or to a factory to refine them into goods. Then you can use those goods to make products that you need to build things. Or products that your citizens need to grow and be happy. Islands will only have certain resources. You'll have to go to other islands to find more that you need, then have those shipped back to your other island for processing or use via trade routes that you can set up.

Citizens needs are very simple. Food and Drink are the most basic. They won't be satisfied with the same food and drink every tier though, you will need to make fancier food and drink for them. The other needs are things like information and entertainment, which are gotten simply by building certain buildings with circles of influence that envelop the house. When a house goes to the next tier, you get more income, so you can have more upkeep, but you'll also have to satisfy more needs.

Indeed, it's rubbish. Always online, can't properly cover/create a region, city boundaries way too small.
