* my ears perk up as you whimper. Seeing you in a little pony ball, she trots over to you and nuzzles your hooves apart enough for her to slide up against your chest, letting your hooves come together again so that you are holding me to you. I nuzzles you to let you know i am her and kisses you softly

Hmm... in the same way an author would rather be the character in their book, or an artist would rather be whatever they're painting?

That's how I see it anyway, I'm just writing my own fun little story. I don't wish it was real.

Mm...that I can understand. Writing a realtime story with other people playing the characters? I might actually be able to get behind that...maybe. Problem being that I don't like doing things for the sake of doing them, and that kind of story doesn't really have much other purpose.

Heh, unintentional but coincidental reference. Mélange does have a longer lifespan and more...capabilities than most ponies. Again I won't explain why, but it's linked to the reason her eyes glow and her name is musical. (Insightful people might realize what her central deal is from that last bit; there's one and only one kind of character in BWSD whom are given musical-related names.)
